Greenearth Living was born 2007 out of the concept that it is truly a benefit for us to live as sustainably as possible. By making consistent efforts to minimize our damaging effects on our planet, our grand "home", we benefit everything and everyone. Greenearth Habitat became the webstore where consumers could shop for items that served this purpose.

 Our motto is "Natural and Organic for Life" because that is what living green or sustainably really is to us.

Greenearth Living initially focused on living sustainably through growing our own organic foods. We now include resources for alternative health and alternative energies.

While we educate anyone who is receptive, we put the majority of our energies into educating the children, thus the birth of our non-profit entity, Greenearth Haven4Kids, whose motto is "Kids Living the Green Life". We see children as our future Earth Stewards and that most children absolutely love getting in the dirt, experimenting with new ideas and concepts!  We host children's summer camp workshops independently and/or in conjunction with local organizations, like the boys and girls clubs.  Additionally, we help establish community organic gardens and partner with other non-profits and organizations that align with our mission goals. Greenearth Haven4Kids is setting up its own interactive website for 2010, so stay tuned for future updates.

As more and more people began inquiring where to buy organic garden and home products, we saw the need to establish an online presence with our webstore, Greenearth Habitat. It continues to grow as we expand our research for products that are truly 'green' (eco-friendly, organic, natural, and all-natural), free of damaging toxins to our environment as well as our bodies.  Our in-the-near-future plans include a "brick & mortar" Greenearth Habitat.

Who We Are
We are concerned inhabitants of this grand "home" we call Earth, which was created to provide our existence with wondrous benefits.  We are currently from the Midwest but our message and our hearts are far reaching.

What does the term "certified organic" really mean?

Plants, seeds, livestock, etc. that are produced in compliance with the federal organic law.

In practical terms this means the inputs (fertilizer, water, pest controls, amendments, etc.) used to produce the organic product are found in nature and free of contamination from non-natural sources.

Additionally, this also means that when you purchase clothing, household products, furnishings, etc., you are getting a product that was made with or by organic standards, basically toxin free. This is just as important as eating organically, because what we sleep on, what we wear, what we bathe with, what we breathe in our environment, all contribute to our well-being...good or bad. So try to go all natural and/or organic as much as possible. It's the best for you, your family, and your planet.
